Our client based in Hyde is looking for a forward-thinking marketing coordinator who will play a vital role in their success.
The Marketing Coordinator is needed to enhance our existing programs and support the development of new initiatives aligned with company and client objectives. The ideal candidate will possess experience across various marketing functions, including communications, advertising, branding, digital, and social media. The Marketing Coordinator must be organized, able to multitask, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Objectives:
1. Assist in the development and implementation of the company's brand strategy.
2. Ensure marketing efforts align with both immediate and long-term business goals, identifying areas for process and content improvement.
3. Compile and analyze market research, forecasts, competitor analyses, campaign results, and consumer trends.
4. Support the development and maintenance of internal tools, such as databases and directories.
5. Foster knowledge sharing through workshops and seminars, promoting best practices within the team.
Responsibilities:
1. Conduct market trend research and competitor analysis, summarizing findings in reports.
2. Collaborate with the Sales Manager to establish marketing strategies, set objectives, and organize promotional presentations.
3. Communicate campaign objectives, timelines, and deliverables to the sales team, providing guidance for effective promotion.
4. Plan and coordinate events and trade shows, managing any logistical requirements.
5. Maintain an up-to-date inventory of sales support materials, ensuring accuracy and relevance, and assist in the creation of new materials.
6. Identify new sources of prospective customer data, making recommendations to the Sales Manager and Business Unit Manager.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
1. Experience in marketing coordination or a similar role.
2. Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media strategies.
3. Proficient in data analytics for research purposes.
4. Strong communication and presentation skills.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications (but not essential):
1. Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in marketing, advertising, or communications.
2. Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
3. Basic knowledge of HTML and experience with design and email software.
4. Experience in budgeting and forecasting.
