We are now seeking a freight forwarder to join the UK team and contribute to the continued growth and success of Central Oceans.
The Role
As you might expect, the basics of the role will revolve around the movement of shipments by road, sea and air (or all) and to encompass all of the associated ancillary tasks you might expect; daily communication with customers, colleagues and suppliers, administration, rate negotiations and quotations, use of the ERP system, and so on.
Your Experience
- Must have an in-depth knowledge of basic shipping principles such as documentation, Incoterms, commodity codes and a solid understanding of international freight operations.
Bonus Experience
- A knowledge of OOG, heavy, awkward or project related shipments.
