Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for a legal assistant to join a busy but welcoming local authority legal team (based in the South West of England) on an interim basis with scope for the role to move onto a permanent contract.
Based within the childcare team, this role would see the successful applicants provide administrative and legal support to the lawyers within the team.
Duties would include:
* Drafting basic applications
* Responding to emails in the shared inbox
* Responding to incoming queries
* Redaction
* Preparing bundles
* Liaising with the courts and counsel
* Preparing witness statements
* Liaising with third party experts
This is a full time, hybrid working role with a requirement to attend the office as needed. This is a fantastic opportunity for a law graduate or administrator to step up into a legal assistant role as training and support will be provided.
