Alchemy is assisting a leading international moving company in their search for a dynamic Partnerships & Development Executive to join their team based in Hertfordshire, covering the London area.
As a Partnerships & Development Executive, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and expansion of the business. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, and developing strategies to enhance their market presence.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, a deep understanding of the relocation industry, and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
Responsibilities:
1. Conduct market research to identify potential moving clients and new removals business opportunities.
2. Develop and implement strategies to target key markets and expand the moving company's customer base.
3. Identify, approach, and secure new moving clients through networking, cold calling, and direct sales efforts.
4. Tailor the moving services to meet the specific needs of potential clients, ensuring a personalized and effective sales pitch.
5. Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts.
6. Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets, contributing to the overall revenue growth of the moving company.
7. Prepare and present detailed proposals and quotations for potential clients, working closely with the operations team to ensure feasibility and alignment with client expectations.
8. Attend monthly meetings to report on sales activities, market trends, and business development initiatives.
9. Work closely with the marketing, operations, and customer service teams to ensure a seamless client experience and continuous improvement of our services.
Requirements:
1. A minimum of 3 years of proven experience in a sales or business development role, preferably within the international moving, relocation, or logistics industry.
2. Strong understanding of the London market and the challenges associated with international relocation.
3. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and persuade at all levels.
4. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
5. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
6. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
7. Valid UK driving license and willingness to travel within London and surrounding areas as required.
