Salford Business School is looking to appoint a Lecturer in Financial Technology. You will have a background in HE teaching in Finance and FinTech.
So what will the role involve?
1. Develop course material to support modules across levels 4 to 7 in the areas of Finance and FinTech.
2. Establish excellent relationships with our students with the ability to deliver teaching around Finance and vocationally-oriented FinTech subjects.
3. Contribute to our thinking and be challenging on how Salford can transform the way it addresses equity disparities, embraces diversity and becomes more inclusive.
4. Foster the development of an inclusive community, using teaching approaches which encourage inclusivity, working in partnership with students to improve their sense of belonging, diversifying the curriculum and using approaches to inclusive assessment to close the award gap.
5. Using your expert knowledge of the ever-changing finance sector, you will play a key role in meeting our students’ expectations.
6. Be an active member of the Fintech and/or the Sustainable Economics and Finance research clusters, including supervising PhD students within these groups.
