Stafforce Recruitment Supervisor Role
Stafforce has an exciting opportunity for a Recruitment Supervisor within a fast-paced factory in Stowmarket, IP14. This is an ongoing opportunity working with our client Ichiban, one of the UK's largest sushi producers for nearly two decades, offering extensive benefits and weekly pay.
Schedule: Weekends only, 5.30am to 6pm, with potential to pick up shifts during the week.
Job Purpose
* To work closely with the Account Management team and the Client to ensure order fulfilment.
* To effectively integrate new Candidates into the Client's business.
* To coach, develop, and motivate Candidates (and Coordinators when applicable) to 'Be Their Best'.
* To ensure all policies and procedures are followed, including holiday, absence, and availability policies.
Key Responsibilities
* This role involves both office and line work.
* Ensure compliance with health & safety policies, company procedures, and food hygiene legislation, monitored via audits.
* Complete Candidate evaluations to provide feedback, motivate, and identify development areas.
* Manage Candidate availability, holiday requests, and conduct shift check-ins.
* Maintain necessary paperwork such as evaluation forms and shift booking reports to monitor attendance and timekeeping, ensuring timesheets are signed off by management.
* Conduct thorough RTW interviews to ensure food safety compliance and candidate fitness for work.
* Manage PPE and lockers, including issuance and recovery, liaising with the Account Manager for replenishment and ensuring lockers are properly closed at shift start and end.
* Gather feedback from Clients and Candidates to improve service and add value.
* Manage workforce absence and ensure appropriate cover in coordination with the Account Manager.
* Conduct effective shift handovers, including completing shift reports and communicating key concerns.
* Be responsible for the on-call phone during shifts and follow absence policies.
Skills, Knowledge & Qualifications
* Preferred: On-site recruitment experience.
* GCSE English and Maths grade C or above (or equivalent).
* Organizational and prioritization skills.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
* Results-oriented with integrity and strong interpersonal skills.
* Innovative, proactive, and flexible thinking.
* Compliance-minded.
