Location: Field-Based - Between London and Brighton
Hours/Shift: 40 hours, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Job Summary
Field Service Engineers visit customer sites within their allocated regional area to deliver service contracts. Responsibilities include completing planned preventive maintenance (PPM) for fire safety systems, responding to call-outs, diagnosing faults, and modifying existing systems. All tasks must comply with industry standards and prioritize excellent customer service.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
• Perform planned preventive maintenance (PPM) for fire safety systems in assigned regions, ensuring all tasks meet industry standards and company policies.
• Attend emergency call-outs and unscheduled work, resolving issues efficiently while adhering to customer Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Accurately complete service worksheets and company documentation following BS5839 standards and internal procedures.
• Troubleshoot and modify fire safety systems to maintain compliance and functionality.
• Provide feedback on-site regarding issues, non-compliances, and potential for additional work to the Field Services Manager.
• Ensure remedial work is completed during follow-up visits within SLA timescales.
• Maximize opportunities for on-site repairs and improvements.
• Collaborate with other departments to support installation projects when necessary.
• Build strong professional relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Follow all health and safety regulations, ensuring proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), tools, and uniforms required for assignments.
• Liaise with the QHSE Manager for equipment calibration, audits, and monthly safety reviews, including Toolbox Talks.
