On behalf of our client school, Tradewind are looking to appoint a passionate Year 2 teacher to work in a beautiful, well-respected school in Denton, Tameside. This exciting long-term role will commence September on a full-time basis until July with the chance of permanency for the ideal candidate. The school are looking for a teacher with strong subject knowledge across KS1 and will welcome applications from both ECT's and more experienced teachers.

About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for a lovely Year 2 class of around 30 pupils. The class comprises of mixed abilities with some pupils with SEND needs where accommodations need to be put in place. You will be joined by an experienced TA on a full-time basis and behaviour is generally good across the school with the behaviour policy focused on positive reinforcement.

3. A teacher who can use Story phonics to systematically teach phonics to develop reading, writing and verbal commuincaiton skills.
4. Someone who is passionate about the arts, active learning and creating memorable experienced for children
5. A fantastic team player who is willing to share advice, resources and be open minded to ways in which to enhance teaching and learning
6. An individual who will go above and beyond to support individuals to reach their academic potential
7. A teacher who values parents as partners in the learning process.
