Axcis Education is looking for a dedicated and proactive Teaching Assistant to support a pupil in Key Stage 2 at a welcoming and well-resourced primary school in Bedminster, Bristol. This is a full-time, term-time only role (8:30-3:30, Monday to Friday), offering a rewarding opportunity to support children with additional needs.
The School:

The Role:
1. Supporting a Key Stage 2 pupil with additional needs, including autism and speech and language delays.
2. Providing 1:1 and small group support to help develop social, emotional, and academic skills.
3. Assisting the class teacher in delivering structured learning activities and interventions.
4. Creating a nurturing and inclusive environment, promoting engagement and independence.
5. Collaborating with teachers, SENCO, and external professionals to implement tailored support strategies.
The Ideal Candidate:
1. Experience working with KS2 pupils, particularly those with SEND.
2. A patient, compassionate, and adaptable approach to learning support.
3. Strong teamwork and communication skills to liaise effectively with school staff and parents.
4. A passion for inclusive education and helping pupils reach their potential.
5. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare.
