Job Overview
We are seeking 2 skilled chef de parties (1 pastry) to join our team in a small neighbourhood restaurant setting. The ideal candidate will be passionate about culinary arts and possess experience in food preparation and kitchen operations.
Duties
1. Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with recipes and quality standards
2. Assist with produce preparation, including chopping vegetables, butchering meat, and preparing sauces
3. Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment
4. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations during all stages of food preparation
5. Collaborate with kitchen staff to deliver high-quality dishes in a timely manner
Skills
1. Previous experience as a chef de partie or demi or similar role within a restaurant environment
2. Proficiency in food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment operation
3. Knowledge of culinary techniques and best practices
4. Ability to work efficiently in a small fast-paced kitchen setting
5. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
