Head of Sales (Head of National Corporate Accounts & Proactive Sales Team) – Countrywide Hotels
A fantastic opportunity for Head of Sales, paying a salary of up to £70,000 has become available for Countrywide Hotels. This is a remote role with travel across the UK, so the candidate location is flexible.
The successful candidate must have a proven track record in a multi-site/ regional Sales role in Hotels.
Job Highlights:
* Base salary of up to £65,000 (potentially up to £70k based on experience)
* Paid travel expenses.
* 28 days holiday (inc. bank holidays), rising to 33 days per year with service length.
* Hybrid/ remote working, UK travel. Depending on your location, you may need to stay away from home 1-2 nights per week.
* Family and Friends discounts across the Countrywide Hotels estate, with international travel and employee rate for other branded hotels within the portfolio.
Responsibilities:
* Take full responsibility for and lead the proactive Sales Team within Countrywide Hotels to increase revenues in accommodation, meeting and events revenues through structured proactive sales activity.
* Control account management for all the Countrywide Hotels regional corporate accounts managed by the individual hotels & Pro-active sales team, maximising all account opportunities.
* Ensure the proactive sales function delivers high-quality service to both internal and external customers through structured strategy meetings and monthly revenue reports.
* Implement and measure KPIs on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. Manage the development and structure of the Countrywide sales team to deliver measurable improvements to individual hotels' revenue and profitability.
* Review and analyze the Countrywide Hotels sales team’s data, creating a robust sales plan to influence sales activity and direction of each property's corporate account portfolio.
* Provide training for the Countrywide Hotels sales team by actioning accompanied sales appointments, holding monthly test calls, and collating client feedback from sales appointments.
Required Experience/Criteria:
* Proven experience within a multi-site/ regional Sales role in Hotels.
* Access to own vehicle. Flexible for UK travel and to stay away from home when required.
