Marc Daniels are currently recruiting for a Finance Manager to join a growing start-up that is gearing up to truly disrupt the biomedical scene having already received awards and industry recognition.
They are for looking for a Finance Manager to take charge of their finances and help them optimise their processes as they prepare to take the leap to the next stage of growth.

Responsibilities:
1. Maintain revenue and expense trackers to ensure accurate monthly recognition
2. Prepare and process monthly accruals, prepayments, and similar accounting entries
3. Prepare monthly financial and cash forecasts, and annual budgets
4. Produce monthly reporting pack for Management Team and Board
5. Manage the preparation of Year-End Accounts & Taxation
6. Process and pay supplier invoices and staff expenses
7. Ensure that the company’s filing and payment deadlines are adhered to, including liaising with HMRC.
8. Provide financial modelling support to management and other departments
9. Support internal controls management
10. Process monthly payroll (supported by external bureau)
11. Monthly reconciliation of ledger accounts
12. Develop dashboards and KPIs aligned with the business objectives
13. Guide the internal cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures
14. Opportunity to work on exciting R&D projects as Finance Support
15. Support the Finance Director, including business planning, fundraising and investor management
16. Other ad-hoc duties
Requirements:
17. Good technical accounting knowledge
18. High attention to detail
19. Strong numerical and analytical ability
20. Good organisational skills, including efficiency, punctuality, and collaboration in a team environment
21. Ability to work independently
22. Proficiency with MS Office, specifically Excel
