M&E Quantity Surveyor
Red Rock Consultants are currently working with a leading Mechanical and Electrical contractor based in the East Midlands.
*Fully office based*
They are currently looking for an M&E Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for all commercial and contractual functions, across various sectors including Healthcare, Education, Fit Out and Commercial.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Implementation, and management of efficient and effective commercial procedures across the contract.
* Management of the established additional works processes to identify and capture items over and above the contract’s limit of liability.
* Providing commercial insights, driving profitable growth, and supporting the delivery of the organisation’s long-term goals.
* Providing support to the operations team with regards contractual commercial requirements, and any related commercial implications of non-performance
* Preparation of contract variations and client finance model.
* Creation, maintenance, and enforcement of policies, procedures, and governance to manage commercial risk as well as leading contractual negotiations in conjunction with the Senior Leadership Team.
Requirements:
* Previous experience of multi-site operation.
* Previous knowledge of contract models, eg. Cost plus, fixed price, shared savings, GMP, etc.
* Experience of assisting with the development and management of commercial processes and procedures.
* Computer literate including working knowledge of MS packages. Advanced knowledge of Excel, i.e. lookups, pivot tables & reporting.
* HND/degree in Quantity Surveying, or equivalent.
* QS background in the M&E Sector desirable.
