Salary: £80 - £110 per day (£400 - £550 per week)

Reeson are working with a vibrant and supportive primary school in Chelsea, dedicated to fostering the potential of every child. We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a child with autism starting in January 2024.
Role Responsibilities
1. Provide personalised support to help the child access the curriculum and develop essential social and communication skills.
2. Collaborate closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement and adapt strategies that meet the child's specific needs.
3. Use your understanding of autism to create a structured, calm, and engaging learning environment.
4. Build a positive and trusting relationship with the child to encourage confidence and independence.
5. Monitor progress and contribute to the development of individualised learning and support plans.
What We Are Looking For
1. Experience: Prior experience supporting children with autism or other special educational needs in a school setting is essential.
2. Skills: Excellent communication, patience, and adaptability to respond to the needs of the child.
3. Knowledge: Familiarity with autism support strategies, sensory needs, and inclusive teaching practices.
4. Commitment: A proactive approach and a genuine passion for making a difference in a child's life.
5. Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in education, SEN support, or child development are advantageous but not required.
