Audit Senior Oxford Job overview: LHH is excited to partner with a prominent independent firm in Oxford that is seeking a skilled and dedicated Audit Senior. In this role, you'll lead an audit team, mentor junior staff, and manage a diverse portfolio of clients. You'll be responsible for planning and executing statutory audits for corporate clients, both in the office and on-site at client locations. Responsibilities: Plan, carry out, and finalise audit assignments while supporting the audit manager. Prepare statutory accounts, corporation tax calculations, and returns for limited companies and groups. Identify opportunities for cross-selling services. Assist with other compliance tasks, including preparing VAT returns. Prepare accounts for partnerships and sole traders, including drafting income tax calculations. Communicate workload progress to management and plan for efficient task completion. Establish and nurture strong relationships with both new and existing clients. Train and oversee junior staff members. Prepare management accounts. Requirements: Competent in audit, accounting and tax software. ACA/ACCA qualification or equivalent (OR studying towards) Full clean drivers licence. Able to work effectively under pressure. Strong communication skills. Familiar with accounting software e.g. Sage and Xero Previous use of CCH and Caseware would be an advantage Excel skills - including vlookup, sumif and Pivot Tables Extra benefits: Flexible work culture.
