Job Description - Junior Demand Planner (2507032065W)

What You Will Do
The position is responsible for :
Demand planning, which combines statistical analysis of sales history with business intelligence from marketing, sales, and product management.
This role will lead the demand planning process for a specific product portfolio, being accountable for :
1. Forecast generation and maintenance as per IBP cadence.
2. Partnering with the regional Supply team to ensure competitive & sustainable service levels while achieving adequate inventory levels.
3. Representing the EtE supply chain team in new product launch projects.
Key Responsibilities
Integrated Business Planning
1. Generation and maintenance of sales forecast, including collecting Sales and Marketing intelligence.
2. Active participation in IBP cycle and S&OE, driving a robust business planning process.
3. Participate in Demand planning COE as required by manager to lead implementation in the Pacific market of new capabilities (i.e., product segmentation, low touch planning).
Customer Service
1. Partner with Asia Pacific Supply Chain (APSC) team to deliver a competitive & sustainable customer service level.
2. Analyze & report reasons for service failures. Identify and coordinate service recovery initiatives where customer expectations would otherwise not be met.
3. Collaborate with the local Rework Planner to ensure efficient customer service outcomes for locally repacked products.
New Product Launches : Cross-functional Team Collaboration
1. Active Project Team participation to ensure timeliness in completion of NPI executions.
2. Represent Supply Chain within the Project team to provide supply chain input and expertise.
3. Partner with other functional representatives to ensure smooth and continuous communication.
Asset Management
1. Partner with APSC team to implement aligned safety stock parameters and ensure customer service levels are met with responsible levels of inventory.
2. Review inventory-related opportunities to ensure maximum financial return on inventory.
3. Find opportunities for SLOB reduction and SDS minimization between APSC and the business.
Others
1. Monitor and report regular SKU performance review, implementing recommendations for rationalization and SKU consolidation.
2. Under guidance from line manager, take personal accountability for professional development.
3. Accomplishment of Personal Development Plans and conduct of Performance Planning and Evaluation.
What We Are Looking For
Required Qualifications
1. Preferred minimum education : Tertiary degree or equivalent work experience with strong supply chain experience, ideally in demand planning.
2. Preferred area of study : Bachelor's degree in business (SC) or technical discipline (IT).
3. Preferred related industry experience : FMCG or Consumer Pharma company.
4. Other qualifications : Desirable - Logistics or Supply Chain Course.
5. Directly accountable for a portfolio of brands.
6. Strong collaborative leadership skills, able to negotiate, influence, align, and prioritize.
7. Communication, presentation, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
8. Project management and problem-solving skills.
