Role: Chef Lecturer

Rate: 30 per hour.
Eden Brown are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Chef Lecturer on behalf of a leading Further Education College in Greater Manchester.
This is a full time temporary role to cover sickness.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and hands-on culinary instruction, ensuring a high standard of teaching across practical and theoretical classes.
Mentor and support students in developing core culinary skills, techniques, and creativity.
Demonstrate and uphold best practices in food safety, kitchen management, and culinary innovation.
Assess student performance, provide constructive feedback, and prepare them for successful
careers in the culinary field.
Requirements:
Proven experience in a professional kitchen, ideally at a senior level (e.g., Head Chef, Sous Chef).
Culinary qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Professional Cookery or equivalent).
Previous teaching or training experience preferred but not essential.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for mentoring emerging talent.
Up-to-date knowledge of food safety standards and industry trends.
