Role Overview
This pivotal role involves working alongside our award-winning Corporate Finance team to provide advisory services to a well-established portfolio of large corporate clients and private equity houses. You will be part of a collaborative, 130-strong multi-disciplinary tax team across nine offices, supported by 13 experienced Tax Partners. There are ample opportunities for career growth and practice development.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead on a variety of complex transaction tax projects, coordinating specialist input where necessary, including buy-side and vendor due diligence, vendor advice, pre-sale structuring, buy-side structuring for PE-backed transactions, corporate restructuring, demergers, reorganisations, and MBOs.
* Provide deal support, such as reviewing SPAs, liaising with international firms within the PKF network, and assisting in strategy and practice development.
* Mentor and coach junior team members, develop processes and procedures to mitigate risk, and deliver tax technical training.
Candidate Profile
* Extensive experience in tax, particularly in company and shareholder taxation, structuring, and transactions, with the ability to lead in high-pressure environments.
* Strong technical tax knowledge; CTA qualification, ACA or ACCA are advantageous.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
* Proven coaching ability, high accuracy, and team-oriented attitude.
