About our Client
Our client is a trusted provider of comprehensive facilities management solutions, delivering high-quality services tailored to our clients' needs. As they grow, they are looking for a Facilities Coordinator to join the property team and support their Facilities Management (FM) Help Desk.
Job Purpose
The Facilities Coordinator will be responsible for managing a network of contractors and ensuring the effective delivery of repairs and maintenance across client buildings. This role involves coordinating planned maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
* Respond to client repair requests via the Computer Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) system and telephone.
* Schedule and manage planned maintenance visits efficiently.
* Oversee contractors, ensuring timely job completion.
* Work closely with the technical team to troubleshoot maintenance and repair issues.
* Manage workflows and processes within the CAFM system.
* Hold regular client meetings in person or via Microsoft Teams.
Skills & Experience
Essential:
Previous experience working on a fast-paced FM Help Desk.
Strong problem-solving skills with a logical approach to challenges.
Excellent customer service skills and experience.
Strong communication skills and confidence in engaging with clients and contractors.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Personable and proactive approach to building relationships both internally and externally.
Ability to work Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM, with the option to work from home one day a week.
Availability to work one Saturday in six (moving to one in eight as we expand) with a day off in lieu.
Willingness to be on-call out of hours one week in six (moving to one in eight as we expand).
Desirable:
Experience in the property sector.
Knowledge of Healthcare Maintenance Management.
Previous experience in Hard FM.
