Your Role
We are looking for a motivated and talented individual to join our Financial Systems Team. You will be involved in enhancing our existing systems and technology while contributing to the Council's ambitious transformation initiatives.
You will support daily operations and the ongoing development of our financial systems and platforms, working closely with services to identify and implement improved ways of working and looking for opportunities for automation.
About You
We are looking for someone with developed understanding of Local Government finance processes with experience in supporting and developing financial systems, including:
* Income Management
* Procurement
* Financial Ledger
* BACS Payments and Direct Debits
* Interfaces and integration between systems
* Helpdesk system to prioritise workload and manage resource
To undertake this role you will need experience in one or more of the systems we currently use including:
* SAP ERP 6.0: FI/CO, SD, AP, AR
* Civica income management system
* PECOS or similar e-Procurement solution
* PTX BACS payment system or similar
