The successful applicant will have:
Essential:
- Minimum of 1 year working within Residential Childcare
- Manual Driving License
Desirable:
- A proven track record of working with young people in a residential setting
- The ability to motivate and inspire young people to reach their goals
- Experience of planning and conducting social activities
- Knowledge of safeguarding and reporting procedures
- A compassionate and understanding attitude
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to build & maintain strong relationships with young people
- Ability to manage expenditure & financial systems
- Experience of working with children & young people who have suffered abuse
- The aptitude to remain calm and professional in challenging situations
- Resilience and a positive outlook
- A good level of IT literacy
- Organisational & problem-solving skills

Schedule:
- 6/12 hour shift
- Day shift
