Our Apprenticeship Programme
The Linde Material Handling Engineering Apprenticeship Programme aims to develop skilled engineers to support our field, workshop, and site-based operations. The main goal is to become a fully competent Linde engineer by applying college learning and demonstrating this knowledge to mentors and assessors, ultimately providing the right material handling solutions to our customers.
We are seeking enthusiastic Apprentice Engineers, primarily based in East Lothian and the EH postcode. The role involves a three-year training program culminating in a Level 3 apprenticeship in Lift Truck & Powered Access Engineering, supported by dedicated mentors and training officers.
During the apprenticeship, you will learn to inspect, maintain, service, and repair various material handling equipment, including forklift trucks and warehouse equipment. Travel to college and overnight stays will be funded, with details provided upon offer.
Upon successful completion, you will be a qualified Linde engineer ready to start your career with a market leader.
Your Duties and Responsibilities
o Attend all required training courses (internal & external)
o Pass knowledge block training tests at college
o Complete End Point Assessment for Level 3 in Lift Truck & Powered Access Engineering
o Pass internal assessments on safety, product knowledge, and diagnostics
o Complete online tests and assessments within deadlines
o Maintain an e-Portfolio to college standards
o Work closely with trainers to achieve your qualification

Qualifications & Personal Qualities
