Learn more about us at www.veracityglobal.com. Job Role The Senior Project Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support and pre-sales assistance for deployed systems. This includes responding to and resolving project-related support requests via phone, email, and remote login connections. While much of the role involves remote support, some travel UK sites will be required for project deployments, training and other related tasks. Additionally, the Senior Project Engineer will maintain support ticketing and project management systems, ensuring all cases are handled within response time parameters. Key Responsibilities System deployment, including configuration, commissioning, and training. Provide technical support via phone, email, and remote login, ensuring timely resolution of issues. Ensure all support and deployment procedures are followed and provide feedback for continuous improvement. Develop and maintain technical documentation for engineers and end-users. Provide guidance and mentoring to apprentice technical support engineers. Keep documentation and processes updated in line with software updates and best practices. Deliver training sessions for customers and internal staff. Use and maintain support ticketing and project management systems to track and resolve cases efficiently. Ensure compliance with Health & Safety requirements. Maintain confidentiality and uphold company standards. Contribute to the growth and strategic direction of Veracity. Manage resources effectively within a small business environment. Provide weekly and monthly progress reports to the management team. Prerequisites Must have relevant experience in the electronic security industry and/or be competent in IT and networking skills. A solid foundation in CCTV, access control, and fire systems is preferred. Must reside in the UK – ideally based near Leeds or the surrounding area. Must pass BPSS clearance. Must hold a valid full UK driving licence. Work Locations Based at Veracity Systems, Normanton, UK. Regular travel to customer sites across the UK and other Veracity offices.
