We're looking for an experienced Electrical Plant Maintenance Engineer to join our client's dynamic Engineering Team in Hartlepool. Position Details: Permanent Role with four days on four days off (two nights and two days then four four off) Salary: £42500 initially increasing to £46400 plus quarterly bonus and annual bonus which also includes any overtime you work Working Hours: 4 on 4 off Key Responsibilities: Install, program, and troubleshoot electrical drive systems, particularly Siemens and Allen Bradley Modify PLC electrical programs and resolve faults effectively Work on ac/dc motor / gearbox drive systems / variable speed motor control with inverters and converters and speed feedback devices Read schematic drawings Work with plc's siemens, allan bradley and mitsubishi Ensure plant operations meet top-notch quality and customer service targets Maintain high compliance with health and safety regulations Provide fast and efficient engineering services, addressing quality and safety issues immediately Record and report maintenance activities using management systems What We're Looking For: NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant electrical trade, or completion of a recognised apprenticeship Strong industrial background, qualified to 18th Edition IEE standards with BTEC ONC / HNC level or equivalent Proven experience in electrical maintenance, especially in commercial or heavy engineering environments Solid knowledge of health and safety regulations and safety circuits Flexibility, eagerness to learn, and a commitment to continuous development Benefits: Salary: £42500 going up to £46400 per annum within three months per annum, including shift allowance, plus bonuses on top quarterly and annually Work within a skilled multi-disciplined team Access to ongoing professional development and training opportunities Competitive bonus schemes Join a leading engineering team and make a significant impact on plant operations and product quality.
