Job overview
We are looking to recruit an experienced, organised, and motivated Patient Pathway Administrator/Medical Secretary to provide an efficient administrative service to Trauma, based at the Horton General Hospital, Banbury.
Main duties of the job
* Accurately transcribe outpatient clinical correspondence from specified digital software within specified timescales.
* Act as the Reconstruction Surgery Coordinator and the Polytrauma Rehabilitation Clinic Coordinator.
* Prioritise requests using judgement and initiative within defined guidelines.
* Handle sensitive information with respect and confidentiality.
* Liaise confidently with other departments, GPs, external Trusts, and patients to ensure smooth transitions for patients.
* Undertake specific duties in accordance with Trust policies and procedures to facilitate the patient pathway.
* Ensure that patient RTT data is accurate at all times.
* Adapt a flexible attitude to meet the needs of the service.
* Provide cover and work with colleagues during times of annual leave and sickness.
* Promote an open and friendly working environment.
* Adhere to the Trust Values, Policies, and Procedures relevant to your post.
