ABOUT THE ROLE
1. Pressing using the Brake Presses to produce customers’ orders on time and to the correct quality standard
2. Setting up the machine – reading drawings, programming machine, tooling changes etc.
3. Marking up of pressed parts and packing
4. Robot Programming
5. Material Handling – manoeuvring of materials on to and off the press machines, either by crane or manually
ABOUT YOU
6. Previous Press Brake operating and setting experience essential
7. Ideally knowledge of Cybelec Software programming
8. Ability to read, understand and follow 1st and 3rd angle projection drawings
9. Knowledge of working with different grades of metal
10. Competent at using all forms of measuring equipment, i.e. Vernier, rulers, angle measuring devices
11. A flexible approach to be able to adapt to changing and challenging requirements
12. Quality focused with attention to detail
13. Excellent communicator
14. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to generate innovative concepts and ideas.
