Are you an experienced administrator with a passion for supporting academic excellence? We’re looking for a proactive and efficient School Administration Officer to join our team and play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our academic community.
As a School Administration Officer, you’ll provide comprehensive support to assigned Schools and the Academic Operations Manager.
You can expect to be involved in:
- Managing office operations and coordinating School meetings
- Overseeing school budgets and maintaining financial records
- Acting as the main point of contact for administrative matters, collaborating across departments to streamline processes and improve efficiency
- Supporting teaching and research excellence by ensuring smooth operational delivery
- Leading and developing clerical staff, including task allocation and monitoring
What will you bring to the role?
- Educated to A level or equivalent
- Substantial experience in an administrative role, demonstrating an aptitude for a post at this level
- Significant experience of systems, processes and communications channels at the University of Kent
- Experience of working in a confidential and busy environment
- Ability to develop effective working relationships with a wide range of staff
