Am partnering with a leading international law firm in their search for an Instructional Design and Curriculum Manager to join their wider L&D team. Based in London with a global reach, this is an exciting role, where the successful candidate will be responsible for creating and managing world-class learning initiatives and programmes for the firm. Working collaboratively with colleagues and third-party providers, this role will see you leading on the design and delivery of high-quality innovative blended learning solutions.
The successful candidate will manage all projects ensuring they are scoped and follow best practice in design and development. They will also manage all content design including the maintenance of the business school’s management and leadership programmes and be responsible for the management of the business school curriculum ensuring the latest thinking in management and leadership and that the curriculum is managed to the highest quality standards.
Other key responsibilities include:
1. Identifying learning and development needs across the firm working closely with HRBP’s and other key stakeholders to continuously evolve learning initiatives and curriculum.
2. Designing and implementing face-to-face learning content.
3. Creating facilitator and participant resource guides with supporting materials.
4. Designing and delivering train-the-trainer sessions for new programmes and modules.
5. Developing blended learning solutions working closely with our technology learning team.
6. Creating and implementing pre and post programme learning content.
7. Supporting content design of divisional and firmwide conferences.
8. Promoting learning initiatives and programmes through internal communication.
9. Ensuring effective evaluation of all learning initiatives and associated reporting.
Successful candidates will have:
1. Proven track record in managing the complete learning cycle, designing, developing, implementing and evaluating learning in a professional skills environment.
2. Strong planning and project management skills with experience in managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
3. A good knowledge of business, management and leadership theory and practice.
4. Previous experience of developing management and leadership programmes.
5. A solid background in curriculum management, ideally to an international target audience.
6. Experience in creating content for virtual, remote tutor sessions, webinars and podcasts.
7. Experience in managing key stakeholder relationships.
8. Previous experience of working in a similar role within a law firm, partnership or professional services firm would be an advantage.
