The Role
NHS Lanarkshire are looking to recruit a Phlebotomist based with University Hospital Hairmyres.
As a Phlebotomist your role will be to collect blood samples by venepuncture or capillary route from Locality patients within the Health Centre, GP Practices and Hospital.

What we'll need you to bring
1. A certificate in venepuncture is essential.
2. Knowledge of anatomy and physiology is required.
3. Require intensive one-to-one supervised training for an initial period of three months and regular updating of skills thereafter.
4. High awareness of Infection Control policies and procedures.
5. Manual dexterity essential.
6. Maintenance of CPR training.
