About the role We are seeking an AOG Stores & Logistics Officer for an 18-month fixed-term contract to support our Gatwick operations. Reporting to the AOG Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer requests are fulfilled efficiently. This role follows a 2 days, 2 nights on (12-hour shifts), 4 off rota pattern, including weekends and nights. Flexibility is required to cover holidays and sickness within the team. While primarily office-based, occasional travel to liaise with airlines, suppliers, and customers may be required. A valid passport and driving license are essential. Responsibilities Handling customer requests, sales, and exchange inquiries Sourcing and ordering materials outside regular hours Meeting AOG deadlines for customer satisfaction Preparing and dispatching orders to vendors and customers Expediting deliveries and coordinating with couriers Ensuring data entry accuracy and maintaining organised records Receiving, inspecting, and storing aeronautical parts, including electro-sensitive devices Managing quality control, handling rejected parts, and resolving queries Packing and shipping parts domestically and internationally with proper documentation Collaborating across departments to support smooth operations Performing additional tasks as required Experience and Skills GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent) Interest in aviation and engineering Aerospace industry experience, ideally in Stores or Logistics Strong communication and attention to detail Self-motivated with good organizational skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Ability to analyse and present data effectively Team player in a fast-paced environment Experience with Quantum Inventory System desirable Forklift license beneficial Hazardous goods transit certification advantageous In return we offer: Volunteering Leave Life Assurance Pension Scheme Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Healthcare Scheme 27 days of annual with an option to buy or sell an additional 5 days per year Electric Vehicle Leasing Scheme Season Ticket Loan Social events and much more We're actively reviewing applications and conducting interviews regularly.
