Lodge Park Academy is looking to appoint an outstanding music teacher to join the school as maternity cover for our Director of Music from April 2025. Working for one of the UK's leading multi-academy trusts for music, the post offers the opportunity to continue to develop a vibrant music programme across the school, local community and music hub.

Lodge Park Academy is an 11-19 Secondary school in Corby, Northamptonshire with approx. 1000 students on roll. Serving local families since 1963, Lodge Park Academy sits at the heart of our community. With a strong emphasis on sport, and the arts, we provide a broad, compelling, knowledge-rich curriculum alongside meticulous pastoral care to ensure all children are able to flourish and achieve. Who we are looking for
* Someone with a very strong record of professional development
* Experience of conducting instrumental and choral ensembles at a high level
* The ability to lead and manage individuals and teams of staff so as to bring out the best in them and the best outcomes for students
* Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to inspire confidence, trust and respect amongst staff, students and families
