Maintenance Engineer
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8am-5pm
Essential Experience:
1. At least 2 years equipment maintenance experience in a fast-paced production environment, with a strong electronics background.
2. 3 years general mechanical knowledge and electrical knowledge.
3. 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations is an advantage.
Job Summary:
To provide preventative maintenance and breakdown maintenance when required. Provides advanced diagnosis, troubleshooting, and repair for advanced electronic and mechanical production equipment.
Essential Job Duties:
1. Maintenance of equipment.
2. Fault finding - diagnosis of mechanical/electrical faults.
3. Preventative maintenance tasks.
4. Communicate with suppliers of production equipment.
5. Ability to prioritise.
6. Control and source spare parts as required as well as stock control of critical parts.
7. Performance of other maintenance duties throughout the building as required.
Skills:
1. Engineering/electrical knowledge.
2. Diagnostic skills in both Electrical and Mechanical.
3. Ability to adapt procedures, techniques, tools, materials and/or equipment, as appropriate.
4. Ability to bring a task to closure.
5. Microsoft Outlook skills.
6. Good communication skills.
