We are now looking for a Gardener to join us on a part-time, permanent basis, working 32.65 hours per week, with the opportunity to work the hours across 4 or 5 days and a requirement to work 1 Saturday morning in 3 during term time. Reduced hours (a minimum of three days) would also be considered. This role may also be considered for a full-time apprenticeship.

The Role
As a Gardener, you will maintain the school gardens to a high standard, ensuring they are an attractive and welcoming environment for all.
Specifically, you will carry out a variety of gardening tasks, including irrigation of seasonal plants and flowers, border work, pruning, and propagation, as well as general maintenance duties to keep the grounds looking their best.
Your duties will also consist of lawn mowing, hedge trimming, lawn renovations, and nursery work, using equipment such as tractors and trailers to complete your tasks effectively.
Additionally, you will:
- Weed, deadhead, and edge borders
- Undertake general site tidiness tasks
- Strim and maintain pathways
About You
To be considered as a Gardener, you will need:
- The ability to work safely
- A positive attitude and the ability to take instruction and learn
- The ability to work to a time schedule
- A full, valid driving licence
