Job Title – Information Manager – Environment Division Location – Hampton, Middlesex Purpose of the Role: The Information Manager is a regional role dedicated to one of the Environment Division Regions / Frameworks. The role plays an integral part of the region to ensure all of the projects and services provided within that region comply with the standard GT Environment Information Management requirements which will bring consistency across all regions / frameworks within the Division. The role will support the Head of Digital to define the information management standard for the Environment Division. What you will be doing: Support the Head of Digital Construction to develop and maintain the Environment division standard for management of information With support from the commercial and operations teams fully understand the clients contractual Framework information management requirements for your region and develop a detailed Framework Information Management Plan which defines how your region will comply with the Environment division standard and clients Framework requirements Communicate and educate the staff within your region on the requirements of the Framework Management Plan Regularly (minimum of every 6 months) review the Framework Management Plan to ensure the plan still complies with the division and client needs. Update plan and communicate any changes in your region Ensure every project in your region has a Project Information Management Plan completed which aligns with the Framework Management Plan. Any departures are to be highlighted and agreed with the Operations Director. Work with the regional staff to develop a culture where completion documentation is planned from the beginning of the project lifecycle Working with the commercial, procurement and engineering teams to ensure management of information is clearly defined in any designer appointments and subcontractor orders Ensure all BMS / IM Procedures are adhered to at all project stages Build projects from the Master template following the completion of the IM Plan and Viewpoint for Projects Workspace Request Configure the project workflows within Viewpoint for Projects Working with the Operations team to initiate the FV Project request form Work with the Operations team to ensure that the Quality Plan and ITP contain sufficient information to establish the FV workspace Assess project requirements for tablet devices with the Operations team and request devices where required through I.T. Support teams with downloading projects onto tablet devices Manage upload and calibration of drawings in line with ITP requirements Invite users to the correct security groups Manage the project workspace to ensure compliance with GT processes Create project reports in line with the records requirements identified in the ITP Monitor completion of forms and tasks and Operations team complete prior to project handover Export final report to enable the Operations team to close out the Quality Plan and ITP Support the Quality Team with IM audits when required Provide training and support to all relevant staff within your region including Project Delivery Staff, Site Teams, Document Controllers, Site Administrators etc. Provide training to Client, Design and Supply Chain Teams where required Support and resolve escalated user issues Communicate to staff in your region any updates or changes to the system and / or templates Resolve any system issues Offer suggestions to Head of Digital and Viewpoint for Projects System Manager on any system improvements Regular engagement with the Viewpoint for Projects System Manager and Field View Systems Manager Input into the recruitment of Document Controllers and Site Administrators Provide input to Operations Director and Commercial Director for Document Control & Site Administration resource needs to aid in the development of budgets and project tender pricing Monitoring and ensuring all regional staff implement Information Management Plans.
