Turning Tides is a dynamic and impactful organisation on a mission to empower individuals experiencing homelessness or housing instability, and we are seeking a HR Administrator to join our busy HR team. This is a great opportunity to work within a small team and develop your knowledge of all elements of HR.
Key Responsibilities
-Provide generalist HR guidance on recruitment, payroll and general administrative queries to staff and managers
-Support the candidate journey from application through to onboarding to include Occupational Health, DBS, References, Offers etc
-Support monthly payroll process by working closely with Finance Team and managers across the services
-Deliver on all administrative tasks by creating change of contracts, updating and maintaining the HR system
-Produce monthly reporting on recruitment activity in preparation for the relevant meetings
-Continually challenge process and improve the use of the HR systems to make processes easier for staff and managers

About You
We are looking for someone with –
-Experience and Knowledge: The successful candidate will ideally have worked in generalist HR administrative role for for approximately 2/3 years, and will have great systems experience to include use of Microsoft Excel and HR Systems (ideally Breathe HR)
-Organisational Skills: Strong organisational and communication skills, along with great attention to detail
-Flexibility: Ability to be flexible in approach to workload and changing priorities to meet deadlines
-Team Player: A a ‘can-do’ attitude and ability to get things done
