SEND Teaching Assistant E4 point 17-20 (22,891 – 24,685) Pro Rota TTO Closing Date:28/02/25 12:00PM We are looking to appoint an inspirational, enthusiastic and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant who has a passion for working with children with SEND. Ideally, a candidate with experience of children with autism is preferred. However, if you are patient, keen to learn and able to work as part of a team, then your application would be warmly welcomed. A caring and nurturing approach to understanding the needs of children is essential. This post will initially be in EYFS. The role would require someone to work with our children for 32.5 hours a week (8:30am to 3:30pm). Have experience of working with children with SEND The successful candidate will be calm, confident and be able demonstrate the ability to accelerate the learning of individual children with SEND and/or small groups of children, under the direction of the class teacher and/or SENCo. They will be expected to support the class teacher with a variety of tasks to meet the ongoing needs of pupils. You would also be expected to carry out break and lunch duties, working as part of a team.
