Join to apply for the Consultant Gastroenterologist Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust role at Dominion Group Entertainment, L.L.C.
Want to work as part of an award-winning team at one of the happiest Trusts in the country?
We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic colleague to join our team of 12 Consultants providing comprehensive Gastroenterology and Liver services. Most importantly we are seeking someone who will fit in well with our happy and productive team in our very modern and well equipped unit. Subspecialty interests will be very welcome, particularly subspecialty training in hepatology, but we would also welcome expertise in endoscopy training, ERCP, EUS or GI physiology.
Diagnostic and Therapeutic endoscopy, bowel cancer screening, inflammatory bowel disease, and nutrition services are already well developed but complementary skills will be very welcome.
As a consultant here at Kings Mill Hospital you will provide outpatient, inpatient and endoscopic Gastroenterology services. You would also participate in the on-call gastroenterology service which includes weekend morning ward rounds and an out of hours GI bleed service (1:9 rota currently). You will also be expected to take part in business planning of Gastroenterology services in collaboration with the other consultants in the department and hospital management.
We expect all patients to receive the same standard of care we would want our friends and family to have.
We are proud of our improvements over the last five years at Sherwood Forest Hospitals, and we recognise we can improve further. We know good quality healthcare can only be delivered by focussing on the experience of people, be it patients and the public or the colleagues you work with. Our improvements have been achieved by two central commitments to people:
1. We expect all colleagues to be treated with the same values we believe are important; support, kindness and respect.
2. We want to work with partners, we want to move beyond the boundaries of our hospitals and we want to help our local population become healthier.
Since 2019 we have been working to deliver healthier communities and outstanding care for all, and working with Primary Care Networks and partners in our Mid- Nottinghamshire Integrated Care Provider and our Integrated Care System.
