Job Title: Behaviour Specialist Teaching Assistant

Pay: £90 - £105 per day

We are looking for a Behaviour Specialist Teaching Assistant to support Key Stage 1 pupils in a primary school in Enfield. This is a rewarding opportunity to help children overcome behavioural barriers to learning, enabling them to reach their full potential in a supportive and inclusive environment.
- Provide tailored support to pupils with behavioural needs, fostering trust and understanding.
- Implement behaviour management strategies to maintain a calm and focused learning environment.
- Work one-to-one and in small groups to support learning, emotional well-being, and social development.
- Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and staff to develop and implement Individual Behaviour Plans (IBPs).
- Encourage students to build confidence, develop positive attitudes, and enhance their social skills.
- Monitor student progress, reporting on achievements and identifying areas for additional support.
- Experience working in schools, ideally supporting Key Stage 1 pupils.
- A proven background in managing and de-escalating challenging behaviour.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- A patient, proactive, and resilient approach to working in a school setting.
- An understanding of strategies that promote positive behaviour and engagement.
