Sr Manager, EMEA Field Marketing
1. Develop and implement a high impact marketing strategy to generate demand and new inflow and build the A10 brand in the region
2. Grow marketing sourced inflow in priority markets in EMEA as part of the global GTM plan
3. Develop and work with the corporate marketing team to execute high-performing, tactical programs, including but not limited to Events, Digital Marketing, Channel marketing and Public Relations
4. Measure and report on effectiveness of marketing programs, with the purpose of driving demand generation and revenue
5. Optimize ROI and effectiveness of marketing budget and investments
6. Evaluate, select and manage outside vendors as necessary
7. Align Marketing programs and activities with global A10 strategic plan
8. Function as both a leader and doer, providing position leadership and insights, supporting strategic objectives, as well as being a ‘hands-on’ member of the team
9. Be a liaison between the field and Corporate Marketing ensuring regional sales and channel needs are integrated into the plans of global and corporate teams
10. Champion Channel EMEA collaboration with HQ and EMEA sales and the Channel to provide strategic engagement and direction
11. Manage team, with coaching and development: goal setting, manage to outcomes
12. Work with Sales leadership team and EMEA Marketing team to build ongoing and lasting alignment between Marketing and Sales strategies, plans, goals and outcomes
13. Develop and execute security awareness plans with local PR team and in collaboration with HQ marketing and PR teams for messaging
14. Develop and execute Channel marketing plans to grow inflow in enterprise and SP market segments in EMEA
15. Develop and execute on outcome-based events strategy aligned to our GTM plans in EMEA markets
16. Operationalize SDR function (outbound/inbound), including the activation in Salesforce
17. Execute on the documented inflow tracking process
18. Inspect and measure effectiveness of Marketing programs against pipeline goals
19. Provide support to local marketing staff in the office, host team meetings etc.
Required Experience:
20. Minimum 10 years in field marketing or demand-generation role in $1B+ B2B technology organization
21. Minimum 3 years as a manager
22. Proven results achieving quantifiable contribution metrics such as qualified leads, pipeline, closed business
23. Experience and proven track record operating in a matrixed environment; able to be effective working across organizational boundaries and building relationships
24. Thorough knowledge and understanding of enterprise lead-management processes and marketing attribution approaches
25. Experience designing and building field-focused marketing programs across digital, proprietary and third-party events, and partner ecosystem including resellers, tech partners, and GSIs
26. BA/BS in Marketing, Business, Communications or other related fields
27. Passionate self-starter with the ability to work in a fast paced and collaborative environment.
28. Experience with competitive analysis including the ability to demonstrate unique value propositions to target vertical markets
29. Excellent writing, presentation and communication skills
30. Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent technical degree/work experience
