Payroll Clerk Manchester City Centre £28,000 - £30,000 This is anything but a run-of-the-mill payroll position where you're just inputting data and processing salaries This role is for a payroll go-getter, someone who will work hand in hand with the FD to overhaul the benefits programme, streamline processes and make systems as slick as possible. A role where you basically write the job spec Yes the staff need paying on time so you must have experience in processing and posting payroll but there is so much more to it - so many projects to get stuck into and they are all ears when it comes to suggestions and new ideas They have recently asked all employees what benefits they'd like to see implemented but the FD simply doesn't have time to roll these out so she'll delegate this project to yourself - they have a Cycle to Work Scheme which has been given the green light, a 30% bonus scheme that's to be rolled out to all and an electric car scheme to get up and running. It's an exciting proposition at a business which is going places, hence the need for an individual in situ to take complete ownership of this function.
