Role: CJU Court Support Clerk

As a CJU Court Support Clerk, you will support the file preparation process of digital case files ensuring cases are progressed to the Crown Prosecution Service and through the court systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Interrogate, maintain and retrieve data/information.
* Provide advice and guidance to officers regarding file content and court process.
* Process, review and quality check digital files.
* Identify any potential data breaches.
* Review computer systems following first court hearings and progress digital case file.
* Finalisation of digital case files.
* Receive, process and review Appeal/Warrant/Committal for Sentence Files.
Skills And Experience
* Experience of using Microsoft packages.
* Experience in data input and retrieval of information.
* Experience of word processing.
* Experience of communication by a variety of means, including telephone and keyboard skills.
* Flexibility to work overtime to meet organisational needs, and work at other locations within South Yorkshire if required.

Eligibility
Applicants must meet the minimum requirement checkable history criteria, which must be taken into account for individuals applying to work with South Yorkshire Police in any capacity. A minimum checkable history of 5 years is required for this role and successfully undergoing recruitment vetting procedure is a pre-requisite of employment with South Yorkshire Police.
