We are very much in a growth phase of our brand journey and are looking for an experienced SHEQT Manager to join the team and drive continuous improvement into our technical function.
If you have experience in leading the technical function in an FMCG environment, preferably within food manufacturing, then you might be the right person to help drive us forward.
We are fast paced starter finishers, with a can do attitude to make things happen. We are in a growth phase, so if you can knuckle down, challenge the status quo and personally drive projects to get things done with pace, then you could be the right fit for us.

Overall Purpose of the Role:
To lead and manage all technical aspects of food manufacture within Gnaw, ensuring that we are meeting the highest standards in terms of food quality and safety and have robust systems in place, in everything from quality and labelling to legislative changes and H&S on site.
Key Responsibilities:
· Create and manage food safety communication – i.e emails, hot topics, culture
· Annual Traceability exercises
· Audit co-ordination and management
· Maintain documentation and track missing paperwork
· Report KPI’s, Analyse data for trends, problems and improvements
· Creation and maintenance of product specifications
· Support the development of food safety procedures and polices
· Provide support, advice and training
· Produce reporting packs that are quality checked for consistency, accuracy, and in a clear and user-friendly presentable format for Managers
· Make continuous improvements in the quality, efficiency and effectiveness of reports
· Create & maintain international food safety documents as required.
· Establish and manage the health and safety culture, implement, track and record progress.
· Conduct risk assessment and update procedures according to requirements
1) Quality & Food Safety Management
· Product Assessments – Quality, specs
· Lead on QA & QC
· Key member of the HACCP & TACCP teams
· GMP Audits
· Swab Testing
· Microbiology and other lab analysis requirements
· Create and maintaining testing schedules
· Food Safety Audits
· Prepare and manage external Auditors – Salsa, Customers,BRC
· RCA & Preventative actions
· Durability Programme & Shelf-life extensions
· Support Complaint Investigations
Based on-site in Norwich, Norfolk, UK.
Salary range £40k - £45k
