Due to external secondment within the Critical care team at the William Harvey Hospital, an exciting opportunity has been made available for the right candidate to benefit from the experience of a secondment into the Therapy team in a Clinical Specialist role.
The successful individual will be able to experience leading a team at first-hand alongside other skilled and experienced Clinical specialist team leads on ITU and in the wider Therapy team.
This post holder will lead, develop and evaluate critical care and surgical Physiotherapy services at WHH hospital.
They will provide therapeutic clinical expertise, high quality advice and support to the multi-disciplinary team. Clinical supervision, appraisal and teaching will be key components of this role.
They will demonstrate excellent communication and collaborative working, along with other clinical specialists across the Health Economy, in order to provide a high quality, efficient service.
In conjunction with the Clinical and Site Lead they will ensure clinical governance targets are met, including the development of clinical standards and protocols, specialist evidence based practice, audit, research, clinical and non-clinical risk management.
