As Head of Human Resources - Group Services, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of people initiatives that align with our UK People Plan and overall business strategy. You will partner with senior leaders to shape the employment experience for their teams by implementing initiatives that enhance engagement, performance and colleague wellbeing collaborating with the Centres of Excellence. As a member of the HR leadership team, you will play an active role in the design and delivery of the UK People Plan committed to the success of Bakkavor with People at the heart of everything we do. What We Do We're the market leader in the UK fresh prepared food industry - supplying meals, salads, desserts, pizza and bread to leading grocery retailers including Tesco, M&S, Sainsbury's and Waitrose. About The Role Collaborate with the HR leadership team to design and deliver a compelling UK-wide People Plan. Partner with Group Services' leaders to development and execute people plans for corporate functions, ensuring alignment with functional priorities and the UK People Plan. Collaborate with senior leaders to identify talent gaps, develop workforce planning strategies, and optimise organisational structures. Partner with leaders and talent acquisition professionals to attract and retain top-tier talent, ensuring diverse and inclusive hiring practices. Develop a high-engagement culture by advising and coaching leaders on the implementation of engagement, learning and development and wellbeing initiatives. Serve as a trusted advisor to the business on employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, workplace discipline and grievances. Partner with leaders and Group Talent to identify learning needs and appropriate learning interventions to meet these. Coach leaders on effective performance management and succession planning. Ensure competitive and equitable compensation practice by recommending market-related salary adjustments, aligned to the Group pay policy. Advise leaders on the effective implementation of people policies and procedures to mitigate legal risks. About You Experience: At least 10 years progressive experience in Human Resources, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role. Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence senior leadership and build relationships across the organisation. Expertise: Extensive knowledge of HR best practices, change management, employment law, employment relations, organisational design and performance management. Strategic Mindset: Ability to develop and execute people plans that support business objectives and drive organisational performance. Problem-Solving: Strong ability to identify challenges, develop innovative solutions, and drive organisational change. Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
