Job Description:
DSV is looking to recruit an Administration Specialist to work with our Fairs & Events team based in Braintree, Essex. This role will provide support to the finance and operations teams and may include international travel to assist our site teams directly.
The right candidate would be choosing a very rewarding career in exhibition logistics.
* You must be a committed player within the site administration team supporting colleagues across all departments in providing an enhanced service to customers while maintaining and promoting DSV best practices.
It is preferential to have at least 1 year’s experience in a finance or logistics environment. Basic invoicing knowledge and credit control experience would be an advantage, while a logistics background is desirable but not essential.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
* Day-to-day responsibility for general administrative duties including processing purchase invoices, credit control, and uploading documents to internal systems.
* Assistance with customer invoicing processes and location KPIs.
* Assistance with card payments.
* Assisting in logistics operations administration tasks.
* Work on-site at some events to support the operations team with administration duties (direct customer facing).
Skills and Competencies
* Good organization skills and effective time management.
* Methodical and able to sustain a task until completion.
* IT Literate in Microsoft Office.
* Problem-solving abilities.
