Job Function: To ensure all company assets off-hired and returned to the depot are inspected, damages/missing items recorded, photographed and recharged to the customer.
Reporting to: Depot Manager.
Liaising with: Yard Foreman, Depot Service Engineers, Valeters.
The ideal candidate will have good interpersonal skills and a good understanding of the importance of excellent service.
Responsibilities:
1. Inspect all off hired units/vans/lights for any customer damage and recharge the customer.
2. Inspect all off hired units/vans/lights for any missing items and recharge the customer.
3. Inspect all off hired units/vans/lights for any rubbish disposal and deep clean requirements and recharge the customer.
4. Raise the repair for any damages that need to be rectified at the Depot.
5. Identify the parts required to affect the repair and raise a purchase requisition for any non-stocked parts.
6. Identify and set aside any units that require refurbishment.
7. Ensure any customer belongings left in the unit/van are logged and stored for the customer to collect or be returned.
8. Correctly process all jobs on the works mobile tablet in a timely manner.
9. Ensure that the company’s health and safety policy and procedures are adhered to in relation to all depot operations.
10. Follow the company’s Employee handbook policies and procedures.
11. Any other duties requested by your Manager.
Requirements:
1. Experience as a recharge controller.
2. Ability to work alone or as a team.
