Role Purpose:
The Service Advisor will serve as the key point of contact between customers and service technicians. You will manage the entire service process, from initial consultation to completion, ensuring efficient and timely service delivery while providing exceptional customer service. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual who can handle customer inquiries, prepare cost estimates, and coordinate with engineers and other internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Onboard Service Support: Provide support to onboard service teams, clients, and engineers, assisting with scheduling and ensuring smooth communication.
* Cost Estimation & Explanation: Prepare detailed cost estimates for recommended services, clearly explaining the scope of work and labour pricing to customers.
* Service Opportunity Identification: Collaborate with internal and global teams to identify new service opportunities, ensuring that customer needs are met and business growth is achieved.
* Customer Service Excellence: Deliver outstanding customer service, handling customer inquiries and complaints professionally, and escalating issues when necessary.
* Engineer Preparation: Assist in the preparation of engineers for service attendances by providing all relevant information and support.
* Accurate Service Records: Maintain precise service records, logging service details and any recommendations for future work in the company database.
* Service Process & Procedure Support: Follow established service processes and procedures during service attendances, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery.
* Key Account Management: Act as a single point of contact for key accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business through excellent service management.
* KPI Reporting: Report key performance indicators (KPIs) to the Service Manager, providing updates on service performance and ensuring targets are met.
Required Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:
* GCSEs (A-C) in English, Maths, and Science.
* Strong knowledge of MGPS (Marine Growth Prevention Systems) & ICCP (Impressed Current Cathodic Protection) products and principles.
* High level of attention to detail and the ability to manage workloads effectively under pressure.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships both within teams and with customers.
* Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
