Elevation Recruitment Group are currently working with a specialist civil engineering company who are looking to appointment a contract Project Manager. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly professional company and work on interesting, complex projects for major clients. The Project Manager will be responsible for: Managing projects from site start up through to delivery Ensuring projects are delivered on time, budget and the required standard Supervising and controlling civil engineering works Working closely with site delivery teams, site managers and contract specialists Supporting and managing foremen, site supervisors and specialist subcontractors Working closely with the commercial team to ensure relevant subcontract orders are competitive and controlled The Project Manager will need: Previous experience of managing civil engineering projects Technical experience and qualifications in civil engineering Experience of managing costs and budgets Excellent team management and communication skills Experience of working to deadlines Customer facing experience A willingness to be based on site 5 days a week often away from home (fully expensed) Candidates can be based anywhere in the UK although a central location or the South West would be advantageous If this role is of interest, please apply today or contact Tim Rudkin for a confidential chat.
