Lead the maintenance and optimisation of mechanical systems to ensure peak operational efficiency.
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues promptly to minimise production downtime.
Implement and oversee preventive maintenance programmes to enhance equipment longevity and reliability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and provide detailed reports to management. Skills and Experience Required for this Mechanical Engineer role:
Proven experience as a Mechanical Bias Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing setting.
Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and automation.
Demonstrated ability to diagnose and repair mechanical faults efficiently.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance.
Experience working with welding and fabrication equipment.
Relevant engineering qualifications or certifications. The package for this Maintenance Engineer role includes:
Basic Salary of up to £45,000
Working week of Monday - Friday (Early finish on Friday)
20 days Annual Leave
