This role will focus on delivering high-quality automation testing solutions, with a particular emphasis on API testing and continuous integration within a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities Automation Testing: Conduct API automation testing using tools such as Rest Assured and UFT to ensure robust and scalable solutions. Design, develop, and enhance Test Automation frameworks to support efficient testing processes. Programming & Database Expertise: Utilize expertise in Java to develop and execute automation scripts. Write and optimize SQL queries to validate backend processes and support data-driven testing. Continuous Integration & Testing: Implement and maintain continuous integration and testing pipelines using tools like GitLab and GitLab Runner. Ensure seamless integration of test automation within the broader development lifecycle. API Lifecycle Management: Leverage experience with APIGEE to support API governance and testing processes. Analyze and troubleshoot issues using Splunk logs to ensure efficient problem resolution. Collaboration & Reporting: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and product owners, to align on quality objectives. Provide detailed reports on test outcomes and recommendations to stakeholders. Skills & Experience Required Essential: Hands-on experience with API automation testing tools, including Rest Assured and UFT. Strong proficiency in Java programming and expertise in writing SQL queries. Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Testing toolsets such as GitLab and GitLab Runner. Experience in developing and working with Test Automation frameworks. Desirable: Familiarity with APIGEE and its role in API lifecycle management. Experience using Splunk logs for troubleshooting and analysis. Background in financial services or regulated industries.
